The JBS 2448 offers a 629 struck cubic foot (769 heaped) capacity box mounted on a tandem axle with 600/50-22.5 tires, hydraulic brakes, and spring suspension as standard. Its dual vertical beaters ensure even and consistent spreading, with both wet and dry product, while the standout Long-Link 5/8” Grade 100 floor chain, galvanized cross slats, and high strength UHMW floor reduce corrosion and nearly eliminate the hassle of chain failure.

Designed with the same frame and box style as the ever-popular 2248, the JBS 2448 is a step up in capacity with a rugged uni-body wall, updated subfloor in the new 4.0 model, improved clearances for minimal hangups, rugged SRT gearboxes, 4' bulkhead, and now scale-ready support straight from the factory.
The 2448’s ability to handle up to 50,000 lbs of material makes it one of the heaviest-duty options on the market for it's size ideal for larger farms and extremely wet manure. Its splash guard and heavy duty end gate make containment a breeze until you’re ready to spread, reducing mess and offering a more consistent spread pattern with even feeding.
Easy Scale Upgrade
With a scale-ready box, the bolt-in scale upgrade makes improved precision easier and cheaper than ever. The easy to use rate controller manages a hydraulic valve to speed up and slow down the floor based on your current position, speed, and desired application rate, compatible with most major brands today.
From there, the Vertimax beaters, custom high-precision steel idler sprockets, and high tensile strength floor chain take the guess work out of application, making it a more approachable machine for newer operators and all-day high-capacity operations.
